Vident and Claude Sieber Team up to Present Visual Elements Course

(Brooklyn, NY) – VITA North America and renowned instructor and ceramist, Claude Sieber, MDT, teamed up to offer a two-day, hands on workshop that integrates all the visual elements necessary to reproduce a natural tooth using VITA ceramics. Held at the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, participants were guided through the process of understanding shade, characterization and internal layering, while also learning the importance of taking a good photograph.  Attendees explored the nuances of how color and light can change the visual aspects when layering porcelain. Participants then got some hands-on training in how to evaluate and manipulate a photo and to interpret the visual elements within the photograph to recreate a natural tooth structure.
